Due to the recent COVID-19 concerns, we are temporarily suspending client choice services and are pre-packing food orders.


In addition, we will be implementing additional safety measures in our processes for collecting and distributing food in order to minimize risk of exposure and transfer of illness to clients and volunteers.

We will continue to monitor information from the health agencies along with guidance provided by the Food Bank of Iowa to ensure we’re taking the appropriate actions in order to keep our clients and volunteers as safe as possible.


Process for receiving food:

  • Please remain in your vehicle until a volunteer comes to your vehicle.

  • The volunteer will ask for your name and date of birth. If this is your first time, we will verify if you are in the system and will ask you to call 986-4191 from your cellphone if we need additional information.

  • All food is pre-packed and will be delivered to your vehicle by one of our volunteers.




All volunteers working in the Storehouse will have their temperature taken when they arrive and are required to wash hand/use hand sanitizer and wear masks at all times.
