KRM Development presented a check for $10,000 to the Grimes Storehouse food pantry. THANK YOU for your generous gift to help provide meals for Grimes residents who are struggling with food insecurity.

Telligen held a food drive for the Grimes Storehouse. They collected 419 lbs. of food and personal items. THANK YOU to everyone who has joined in these efforts to help feed families in our community during the Christmas season and all year long.

Back to Health Chiropractic held a food drive for the Grimes Storehouse. They collected 236 lbs. of food and personal items. THANK YOU for sharing your Christmas blessings with us.

The Patterson family helped bring joy to the Grimes Storehouse food pantry and their clients. They donated 226 lbs. of food and personal items. THANK YOU for taking the time during this busy season.

DC-G High School Students continue to support the Grimes Storehouse with their food drives. They collected 1200 lbs. of food including a generous monetary donation. BIG THANKS to all the students.

The Grimes Holiday Celebration presented by Andrea Sabus State Farm Insurance received food and monetary donations during their event on December 5th. Thanks to everyone who contributed.


Toyota of Des Moines collected 805 pounds of food and monetary donations from those who attended the "Photos with Santa and live Reindeers" event on November 27th. Toyota is also donating 50 4' Christmas trees including lights, ornaments and tree skirts that will be given to Grimes Storehouse clients. THANK YOU Toyota!


Farrell's Extreme Bodyshaping collected 224 pounds of food from their clients and delivered them to the Grimes Storehouse. THANK YOU!






The Girl Scout's city food drive was held on Saturday, November 20. They did an awesome job collecting over 4100 pounds of food and personal items. Thanks to everyone who helped and those who donated the food. THANK YOU for all your hard work.

Brownie Troop 463 made up birthday bags for the Grimes Storehouse clients. They look great. Awesome job. THANK YOU!


Bankers Trust in Grimes hosted a food drive on Friday, October 29th and collected 657 pounds of food from their customers. THANK YOU to Bankers Trust and all their customers that contributed!




We're sending a Storehouse shout-out to Cub Scout Pack 171! The pack held a food drive last Saturday morning at Fareway to help keep our shelves stocked. They collected three car loads of food totaling 609 pounds! They also collected monetary donations. THANK YOU to Pack 171 and everyone that contributed!

The 4th & 5th graders from the NorthPoint Church in Johnston made up birthday bags as a service project. They delivered them to the Grimes Storehouse to give to the children of our clients. Great job! THANK YOU!

St. Peter Lutheran Church in Grimes had their kids from their Vacation Bible School make birthday boxes. They included cake mix, frosting, candles, birthday card and a baking pan. They also decorated the outside of the box. THANK YOU!

Crossroads Community Church in Grimes collected food during their Vacation Bible School. They donated food and personal items totaling 785 lbs. THANK YOU!


Harvest Bible Chapel in Grimes collected 576 lbs. of food during their High Five camp. The food was donated to the Grimes Storehouse. THANK YOU for the amazing donation and helping serve the community.

Meghan Ewing from Storybook Homestead in Linden Iowa donated over 30 dozen eggs to the Grimes Storehouse! We're glad to be able to provide many fresh food items to our families, and now we can add fresh eggs to that list. THANK YOU!

Grimes Girls Scout Troop 303 offered the chance to buy extra boxes of cookies to be donated to the Grimes Storehouse food pantry. We really appreciate their effort to offer an extra treat for our families. THANK YOU!

In celebration of their recent grand opening, O'Reilly Auto Parts in Grimes selected the Storehouse to receive a monetary donation. THANK YOU to O'Reilly Auto Parts and welcome to Grimes!

Grimes Cub Scout Troop 171 collected over 460 lbs. of food for the Grimes Storehouse during their recent food drive.


Lutheran Church of Hope donated a large amount of food that they collected during their Souper Bowl Food Drive that was held between Feb 1-7. They donated over 2,200 lbs. to the Grimes Storehouse.

Grimes United Methodist Church Red Letter Challenge Food Drive. They collected almost 1200 lbs. of food.

Food that was collected by the Grimes Brooke Ridge Neighborhood during a recent food drive.

Kennybrook Neighborhood collected food and monetary donations for the Grimes Storehouse.

Harvest Bible Chapel did a service day on Sunday, 1/31 and one of the things they did was purchase food for the Grimes Storehouse.
